Free Play Rules

  1. Free Plays can only be wagered on:
  • FOOTBALL (NFL / NCAA / CFL / ARENA)
  • BASEBALL (MLB)
  • BASKETBALL (NBA / NCAA / WNBA)
  • HOCKEY (NHL)
  • SOCCER
  1. Basketball, Football and Soccer Free Plays can only be used on Spreads and Totals.
  2. Baseball and Hockey Free Plays can only be used on Moneylines and Totals.
  3. If Bets, Parlays, Teasers and Point-Buying are not permitted using Free Plays.
  4. Free Plays lose when a push or tie results.
  5. Free plays and bonuses expire in 30 days. Any unused free plays at the 30 day mark will disappear from your account.
  6. Free Plays can only be wagered online via the website or the mobile site. Free Play wagers cannot be made through the Call Center.
  7. All Free Plays are subject to a Rollover requirement based on the Terms and Conditions of the particular promotion.
  8. Only the Free Play winnings get added to your account balance. The value of the Free Play is not included.
  9. The maximum winnings from any single wagered Free Play bonus is $5,000 or $5,000 cumulative from multiple Free Play bonus wagers from the same bonus.

NOTE: Unless otherwise specified by an Player Services Representative, when you receive a bonus for making a deposit you must roll over the amount you deposited (plus any fees that BetOnline may have covered), plus the Free Play bonus the specified amount of times. Wagers placed using Free Play do not qualify toward rollover calculation.

For example, if you deposit $1000 and your fees are $15, BetOnline will credit your account the full $1015 + $250 Free Play Deposit Bonus. So, if you have a ten-time rollover assigned for that deposit bonus, you must roll the entire amount (e.g. $1015 + free play) ten times. Thus, to receive a payout without forfeiting anything you won from your bonus, you must first cover the rollover amount (e.g. $1015 + Free Play times ten).

When calculating “rollover”, we use the lower of the risk/reward value as the effective value. For example, if you bet $500 on Team A to win $450, and you bet $400 on Team B to win $350, and you bet $250 on Team C to win $50, the total action applied toward fulfilling the rollover requirement would be $850 ($450 + $350 + $50).

Also, should you accept the Free Play and lose with it or choose not to use it, the Free Play Bonus will still be deducted at the time a payout is requested unless the rollover requirement is met.

Sportsbook bonuses can be rolled over in the Sportsbook only; no play in the casino or in the race book will count towards rollover. The same goes toward Casino Bonuses, which must be rolled over in the Casino.

BetOnline currently bans use of Promo Codes only from the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Nigeria, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Taiwan, Ukraine, Vietnam.

Comp Points

Comp points or VIP Points are earned by contributing to real money raked hands and buying in to tournaments.

Raked Hands: For every cent that you contribute to the rake, you'll earn 1 COMP Point.

Example:

If 5 people are playing at a table, and each person contributes to the pot evenly and the total pot is $50, then each player would have contributed $10 to the pot. Using the example of rake at 5%, each person would have put 50 cents into the rake. You earn 1 COMP Point per cent in the rake. Therefore, 50 cents into the rake would earn you 50 COMP Points.

Tournament Play:

For every $0.01 you pay in tournament fees, you will earn 1 COMP Point.

You can view your current COMP/VIP points balance in the top right of your poker software.

COMP points are added from the moment you begin playing real money games on the poker tables. On occasion, they may take up to 24 hours to reflect in your account.

Multi-Table Tournaments

Multi-Table tournaments are tournaments with more than 10 players and multiple tables running concurrently. Tables merge as more players are eliminated. This continues to happen until only 1 table remains, and ultimately finishes when 1 player holds all of the chips.

Each player begins the tournament with the exact same amount of chips. There are both Limit and No Limit Hold'em Multi-Table tournaments. When one player has all of the chips, the prizes are awarded according to the prize payout for that particular tournament.

Rules

  • Any player is eligible to enter into a Multi-Table tournament, providing they are able to pay the buy-in.
  • All Multi-Table tournaments are played until 1 player has all of the chips.
  • The button determines which players begin posting blinds in the tournament.
  • BetOnline.ag does not permit soft play. Each player should play with the same intensity against all other players.
  • There will be 5-minute breaks every hour, all Poker tournaments continue until one player holds all the chips.
  • When a player loses all their chips, they are out of the tournament and finish in the order in which they were eliminated. Example: In a 210-player tournament if you are the third player eliminated, you rank at 208th place in the tournament.
  • If more than one player is eliminated in a hand, the player with the most chips before the hand started finishes with a higher ranking. In the case where both players also have the same amount of chips before the hand, both players will tie for the position. If there is a tie between two or more players, the prizes they qualify for are split evenly between all tied players. For example, if two players tie for 2nd place, each player receives 50% of the second place prize and 50% of the third place prize.
  • Deal Making - This includes, staking, swaps, profit-sharing, or any kind of bankroll sharing agreement with another player during tournaments and/or SNGs. Players caught deal making will have the tournament/SNG winnings removed and their buy-in/rebuy/add-ons will NOT be refunded, and the guilty players will have their accounts suspended and/or permanently closed. These rules only apply if the tournament/SNG does NOT offer deal making. Poker tournaments continue until there is one declared winner and the payoffs will be exactly according to the prize payout structure.
  • All players will play with all their chips until either they lose all their chips or win the tournament. However, please note that we allow players to re-buy when they go out of the tourney as long as the tourney has a re-buy structure.
  • During play in any of the poker tournaments, if a player loses their connection and does not re-connect or does not act, their hands are automatically folded and their blinds are posted automatically when it is their turn until they return. Eventually the player is "blinded out" if they do not re-connect back to the poker tournaments table.
  • Players must understand and accept the risk of internet disconnections, as they can and do occur. If a player is not connected before a hand starts, they will be dealt cards and then folded automatically. If they are required to post a blind and are not connected, blinds will continue to be posted on their behalf and their hand folded. Again, this continues until the player is fully connected and back in the poker tournaments or until the player is out of the tournament.
  • In case of a server problem, all poker tournaments in play during the problem are deemed as cancelled. Once the server re-starts, we will refund the full Buy-In or the last rebuy of each poker player that was still in the tournament at the time. To receive a refund of your Buy- in, please contact [email protected] with your account number and the tournament number. Players still in the tournament at the time of disconnection will be eligible for a portion of the prize pool. This payout is based on the player's proportion of chips compared to all other remaining players. This resolution treats all players fairly. If a player was eliminated from any of the poker tournaments before the server problem, they are considered "out of the tournament" and do not receive an entry fee refund or any portion of the prize pool.

In case of disputes, BetOnline.ag's management decision will be final.

Sit N Go Tournaments

A Sit n Go tournament is one with 2-18 players that starts immediately after the required number of players for that particular tournament is satisfied.

Each player begins the tournament with the exact same amount of chips. There are both Limit and No Limit Hold'em Sit n Go tournaments. Play continues until one player has all of the chips. When this occurs, the prizes are awarded according to the prize payout for that particular tournament.

Rules

  • Any player is eligible to enter into a Sit n Go tournament, providing they are able to pay the buy-in.
  • All Sit n Go tournaments are played until 1 player has all of the chips.
  • All Sit n Go tables will begin 30 seconds after the final person has registered.
  • The button determines which players begin posting blinds in the tournament.
  • BetOnline.ag does not permit soft play. Each player should play with the same intensity against all other players.
  • There will be no breaks, all Poker tournaments continue until one player holds all the chips.
  • When a player loses all their chips they are out of the tournament and finish in the order they were eliminated. Example: In a 10-player tournament if you are the third player eliminated, you are declared as finishing in 8th place.
  • If more than one player is eliminated in the same hand, the player with the most chips before the hand started finishes higher.

Tournament Cancellation

In the unlikely event that a tournament should be cancelled, our main priority is to compensate players in the fairest and most equitable way possible. Depending on the state that the tournament was cancelled and the timing of the cancellation, one of the following methods, based on our sole discretion, will be applied.

There are 3 refund policies based on when the TOURNAMENT is cancelled:

  1. Tournament is cancelled before start
    • All players get back their contributions and fee paid at registration, the means being returned in the form they have been paid (cash for cash, TM for TM, ticket for ticket, CP for CP).
    • In GTD-tournaments, the amount of guaranteed prize is returned to the House.
    • In Knockout tournaments, knockout fee is returned to players.
    • In Windfalls, jackpot fee is returned to players.

  2. Tournament is cancelled after start (No Players have received prizes yet)
    • The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.
    • The remaining players get back their fees.
    • The remaining and eliminated players contributions are allocated as follows:
-50% of contributions are divided equally among the remaining players
-50% of contributions are divided among the remaining players proportionally to their amount of chips left at the beginning of the hand in which the tournament is cancelled.
    • In Satellite tournaments, the remaining players get their fees back, and the contributions are divided as mentioned above. Tickets are not awarded.
    • In GTD-tournaments, the guaranteed prize amount is returned to the House, contributions are allocated among players as mentioned above.
    • In Knockout tournaments, remaining players get back the knockout fee paid by them at registration.
    • In Time-limited tournaments with “Tickets for surviving” Payout table:
-The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.
-The remaining players get back their fees.
-The remaining players get back their contributions.
    • In Windfalls, jackpot fee is NOT returned to players. Player will receive tickets to the same Windfall they played in.

  3. Tournament is cancelled after start (Players have received prizes)
    • The House takes the fee paid by eliminated players.
    • The remaining players get back their fees.
    • The remaining players are awarded equally with the last unpaid prize and if there are still remaining funds in the prize pool, the players will receive funds proportional to the amount of chips left at the beginning of the hand in which the tournament is cancelled.
Example: if the tournament paid out 50 players, however there are only 42 players left, each player receives an equal portion that place 42 would have paid out.
    • In GTD-tournaments, the minimum prizes are paid from player contributions (just like in non GTD-tournaments, see points 3).
    • If the amount of player contributions is not enough to pay minimum prizes (see point 3), the House provides the insufficient amount from guaranteed prize pool. The remaining funds from the guaranteed prizepool is returned to the House.
    • In Knockout tournaments, remaining players get back the knockout fee paid by them at registration and contributions will be distributed (see point 3).
    • In Windfalls, jackpot fee is NOT returned to players. Player will receive tickets to the same Windfall they played in.

  4. Individual Disconnection:

When an individual player experiences a disconnection (as a result of the poker room experiencing technical issues) which results in them being knocked out of a tournament/SNG, the player will be refunded a ticket to that tournament/SNG, which may be used whenever the player wishes to do so. However if the player placed in the tournament and received a prize, they will NOT receive a refund. If the player was eliminated prior to the disconnection, they will not receive a refund.

  5. Paused Tournaments

If a tournament needs to be paused, either due to maintenance or technical issues, a message will be sent to all players in the tournament informing them that the tournament will be paused and when the tournament will start up again. 15 minutes prior to the tournament resuming, in client messages will be sent out every 5 minutes informing players when the tournament will resume play.

In the unlikely case that the time provided to players prior to the tournament being paused has passed and players still can’t login, in client messages will be sent out informing players of the new starting time of the tournament. If the player was not successful in completing the tournament, they will need to contact customer support in order to receive the refund in the form of a ticket to the same tournament. However if the player placed in the tournament and received a prize, they will NOT receive a refund.

E-sports Rules

  1. The start dates and times displayed on our website for E-Sport matches are an indication only and are not guaranteed to be correct. If a match is suspended or postponed, and not resumed within 48 hours from the actual scheduled start time, then wagers on the match will have no action and be refunded.

The exception being any wager on whether a team/player advances in a tournament, or wins the tournament, will have action regardless of a suspended or postponed match.

  2. If the name of a player/team is misspelled, all bets will stand unless it is obvious it is the wrong object.
  3. If in an official match a player plays with the wrong nickname or on a smurf-account, the result is still valid unless it is evident that it is not the player that was supposed to play that match.
  4. All wagers will be settled using the official result as declared by the relevant governing body of the competition concerned.
  5. If a draw option has not been made available, then extra time will count, if played.
  6. Handicap betting: A spread in E-Sports can be Rounds/Maps or other counting measures dependent on the game. The spread will only be referred to as the spread. (For example, in Counter Strike the spread will be rounds won, while in Starcraft 2 the spread would be maps).

Handicapping is a way of making a sports contest more even and thus more interesting as a betting object. In E-Sports betting, this is done by awarding one of the teams/players, the underdog, some maps/rounds ahead

    For example:

      Handicap Odds
    Player A -1.5 2.00
    Player B +1.5 1.85

If Player A wins the match by two maps or more, Player A bettors win and Player B bettors lose. If Player A wins by exactly one map or Player B wins, Player B bettors win and Player A bettors lose.

  7. Total Betting: A total in E-sports can be Rounds/Maps or other counting measures dependent on the game. The total will only be referred to as the total.

  8. Example for a best of three SC2 match:

    Over 2.5 1.93
    Under 2.5 1.93

If either player wins 2-0 all bets on under 2.5 will win, while bets on the over will lose. If either player wins 2-1 all bets on the over win, while bets on the under lose.

  9. If a match is not completed because of a player retirement or disqualification, all bets on the outcome will have action and will be validated based on the official declared winner. All bets on the spread or total will be canceled and monies refunded. Counter-Strike matches are exceptions to this rule, for which all money line, spread and total bets are canceled if a team retires or is disqualified before all scheduled map rounds are played.
  10. Should a player/team withdraw before a tournament begins, or retire during a tournament, bets on that player/team to win the tournament, or to advance in tournament, will be canceled and monies refunded.
If the respective player/team withdraws before the tournament begins while being listed as “must start”, then wagers on whether a player/team advances in tournament or wins the tournament, will have no action and monies refunded – this applies to all players/teams participant in the tournament.
  11. If the announced number of maps/rounds is changed all bets on the handicap or total are cancelled. Bets on the money line (outcome of the match) have action.
  12. If a player/team is given a walkover on at least one map, all wagers on the money line, spread and totals will be canceled and monies refunded.
  13. Live Betting: In live betting, if a map is replayed due to a draw, disconnect or similar reasons, all live wagers on the respective map will be canceled. The replay of the map will be treated as a separate game.
